Donate to the Valley PTA!
Your donations to the PTA support your child by funding essential educational and curriculum needs at Valley, advocating for children and educators, and building a sense of community. It only costs you $21 to join in, with no required time commitment or volunteerism required.
Your donations will help to directly fund Valley teacher mini-grants to improve the quality of your child’s education, special school events, the 8th grade promotion ceremony, teacher appreciation week, and much more!
Anything you can give, whether time or money, will support your child's potential. We ask you to please consider a donation of $50 per student attending Valley ($ 21 to “join PTA” and another $29 in the donations box). This is just a suggestion; any amount beyond $21 will help, and if you can go beyond $50, please consider it. All donations (and “membership dues”) are tax deductible. La Costa and Del Mar schools are requesting over $800 per student!
Help invest in your child and your school. Follow this link, “sign up for PTA” (no junk email or commitment from you necessary), and remember to fill in the donation box too:
Thank you so much for helping us conquer our goals!
As a member of California State PTA, you advocate for children, promote parent and family involvement in schools, and improve the lives of all children and families. Here are a few extra perks of membership available exclusively to PTA members like you!
What does it mean to “join the PTA?”
Being a member of the Valley Middle School PTA just means that you have given a contribution to the organization in support of enhancing the Valley Middle School experience for all students.
You can join for as little as $21, but if you can, we ask that each family consider a donation between $50 to $250 for the year.
Do I have to do anything once I am a member?
Nope. We are just happy to have your support. Of course, if you want to be more involved in school life, we have a lot of different opportunities, from volunteering at a one-time event to serving on a committee or even the board.
Remember, even though your kids feel like they’re pulling away during the middle school years, they actually need your support more than ever.
Volunteering on campus is a great way to stay connected with school life.
Can I come to PTA meetings if I am not a member?
Please do! All family members of Valley students are welcome at our general meetings. The more connections we can make as parents and teachers, the better for us and our kids. Click here to learn about our upcoming General Association meetings.
Volunteers are an essential part of our success. Participate at whatever level works for you, big or small - every bit counts!
Your PTA needs leaders to take on more committee roles. We could use parent volunteers to take the lead on Popsicle Fridays, Grants, Campus Beautification, Restaurant Nights, Red Ribbon Week, Reflections and more. To get involved email email@example.com.
8th Grade Promotions
This is a fun way to create a memorable experience for our departing 8th graders. To get involved email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Throughout the year, there are many opportunities to volunteer for one-time events and fundraisers. We also often need helpers for Teacher Appreciation week (May), Fundraising Events, and Spirit Wear sales. Keep an eye out in the Principal's newsletter for more information and to sign up.
