Membership FAQs
What does it mean to “join the PTA?”
Being a member of the Valley Middle School PTA just means that you have given a contribution to the organization in support of enhancing the Valley Middle School experience for all students.
You can join for as little as $21, but if you can, we ask that each family consider a donation between $50 to $250 for the year.
Do I have to do anything once I am a member?
Nope. We are just happy to have your support. Of course, if you want to be more involved in school life, we have a lot of different opportunities, from volunteering at a one-time event to serving on a committee or even the board.
Remember, even though your kids feel like they’re pulling away during the middle school years, they actually need your support more than ever.
Volunteering on campus is a great way to stay connected with school life.
Can I come to PTA meetings if I am not a member?
Please do! All family members of Valley students are welcome at our general meetings. The more connections we can make as parents and teachers, the better for us and our kids. Click here to learn about our upcoming General Association meetings.
